Authorities search for five missing children and mother

ROSE CREEK, Minn. (KTTC) – Authorities in Minnesota and North Dakota are looking for five missing children and their mother, who could have taken them against court order.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office says at least three of the kids were seen last night leaving with their mother, Izetta Cooley, 39.

She’s the wife of murder suspect, Miguel Cooley, Sr., who was arrested last week in Rose Creek for a murder in Fargo.

Izetta Cooley is court-ordered to not have contact with the children.

She’s 5’4″, 180 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office says at about 10:30 last night, Cooley and one of her sons, Morgan, 16, picked up Mateo,10, and Mollycia, 11 where they were staying in Rose Creek.

They’re also looking for Mojo Cooley, 13, and Marco Cooley, 17.

It’s possible they could also be with their mom.

One of their six children, Maryssa, 15, has been found and is in protective custody with Clay County.

They could be driving a 2007 Black Suzuki X-L-7, like the one in this picture, with Minnesota License Plate 103-WJC.

“We have no direct indication that the children are subject to her harm or that she is armed but we have great concerns over her actions blatantly violating this court order and taking these children against that order,” said Sgt. Investigator Steve Sandvik with the Mower County Sheriff’s Office.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office says they could be in Minnesota or traveling to North or South Dakota.

Izetta Cooley’s residence is in Moorhead.

If you have any information you’re asked to contact the Mower County Sheriff’s Office at (507) 437-9400 or call 911.
