Wisconsin hunting opener provides new opportunity for missing teen search

Barron County, Wis. (WQOW)  Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald is turning to hunters to help search for evidence in the Jayme Closs case.

Wisconsin’s gun deer hunting season opens on Saturday.

Sheriff Fitzgerald posted on Facebook Thursday morning asking hunters to report anything suspicious such as clothing, weapons or anything you do not think is right on your property.

Fitzgerald said his department continues to partner with the FBI and DCI on the ground and across the county.

It was one month ago Thursday Jayme Closs went missing and her parents James and Denise Closs were found shot to death in their Barron home.
