CLARKS GROVE, Minn. (KTTC) – First responders dealt with several crashes across southeastern Minnesota Friday, forcing Freeborn County Sheriff’s and Minnesota State Patrol to close off a section of I-35 near Clarks Grove.
One crash involved four semi-trucks colliding and one falling into the median ditch.
The state patrol says crews took one of the drivers, a 45-year-old Albertville man, to Albert Lea Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Conditions at the time made travel difficult, with blowing snow severely cutting visibility.
The number of incidents this afternoon caused headaches for drivers and the officers directing traffic.
