20-year-old Rochester man arrested for allegedly robbing teenager

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A Rochester man is behind bars after he allegedly robbed a teenage girl, pushed her out of a car, and threatened to leak compromising photos of her.

The 16-year-old victim claimed Kareem Hollins, 20, robbed her around 10:20 a.m. Friday. She said he took $300 from her while he gave her a ride from the 600 block of 21st Street Northwest. The 16-year-old told police Hollins saw the money when he asked her for gas money. Then, he allegedly pushed her out of the car on the 3800 block of 17th Avenue Northwest.

The victim stated Hollins threatened to leak nude photos of her if she told anyone what happened. He was arrested on Marion Road Southeast, just before 2 p.m. Friday. Hollins denied the accusations, but was arrested. He faces a felony simple robbery charge.
