FOUNTAIN, Minn. (KTTC) – The Fountain community is welcoming a new joint for breakfast, lunch and dinner. “AJ’s Diner” is a new restaurant in town with a 50’s theme, a nostalgic trip to the past for many.
It brings that classic 50’s feel to the corner of Highway 52 and County Road 80, where eateries have welcomed guests for several decades.
The new restaurant is co-owned by the Arnold family and focuses on fast, made from scratch food, incorporating old fashioned favorites not only on the menu but also with the decor. Along with the 50’s flare, the diner says it’s working on being eco-friendly, from composting to reusable take out containers.
AJ’s Diner offers dine in, take out and local delivery within a two mile radius.
“It really helps the busy person, the agricultural community that are wanting to zip through. But we also will catch the tourists that are in a hurry as well, Co-owner Seth Arnold said. “All of our food is from scratch, the only thing we don’t make from scratch is the buns and the french fries.”
AJ’s is open for lunch and dinner most days of the week, but is closed on Tuesdays.
