Stormy weather pattern next week

Showers and thunderstorms will be a theme this week. Rain chances are in the forecast Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, scattered on Friday, and then again on Sunday.

Temperatures Monday will be in the lower 70s with mostly cloudy skies. Scattered thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon then showers are likely extending through the overnight hours. Winds will be breezy out of the southeast around 10-15 mph with gusts reaching near 25-30 mph. Overnight lows Monday night will be in the middle and upper 60s with rainy conditions. Rainfall amounts Monday into Tuesday morning could reach near .50-.75″.

Conditions will dry out slightly on Tuesday with some peaks of sunshine. Highs will be back in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast in the late afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday. Overnight lows will sit steady in the middle 60s.

Shower and thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast for the rest of the workweek. We’ll finally get mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures on Saturday until more rain is on the way for Sunday.
