Warm days are numbered

Warmer than normal temperatures will continue into Wednesday. Highs will sit steady in the middle and lower 80s with overcast conditions. Winds will stay breezy out of the south around 5-15 mph. Some gusts could reach near 20-25 mph at times.

Rain chances move into the forecast for Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the mid and late morning hours. The afternoon Wednesday should be dry for most of the area. Our next chance at rain will be overnight Wednesday through Thursday afternoon. Storms will stay very scattered through Thursday night.

Highs will remain in the lower 80s through Friday with middle 70s on Saturday and the lower 70s to upper 60s expected by Sunday. Rain chances will stay in the forecast through Saturday with dry conditions to follow early next week.

Fall officially starts on Monday and fall-like conditions arrive just in time. Highs next week will be back to around average in the lower 70s with mostly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday.
