PLAINVIEW, Minn. (KTTC) — The Plainview Area History Center is hosting a re-open house October 12. The celebration is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Some of the refreshed displays include unique religious, military, musical and medical artifacts. Also, hear the story why the town of Plainview was forced to move two miles after it was first established in 1856 (and no, it wasn’t because of the rail road).
A lot of time and money has been invested in updating the history center. For more information, http://www.plainviewareahistorycenter.org
