ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The Rochester Civic Theatre prepares for its special Halloween play: Night of the living dead.
This is the first time the Civic Theatre Company has done anything quite like this, and on Wednesday, October 9 KTTC got a sneak peak as they shot a promo for the show.
The goal is for this play is to be like a haunted house, but more intense. Executive Director Kevin Miller says the venue has a lot to do with the intensity of the show.
“The Civic Theatre is a haunted theatre, that is what the legends are.” Said Miller “And here in the black box will work really well and the studio set up is intimate so people will be up close and personal with the zombies.”
Miller also says although there may be a few parts that will make you want to jump, there is also plenty that will make you laugh and the show is a family friendly production.
Tickets are on sale now and you can buy them here.
The show runs from October 18 until November 2nd and there might even be a cameo from KTTC anchor Tom Overlie.
