Gloomy and windy weather ahead

Gloomy and windy weather is on the way for the first half of the workweek. Highs Tuesday will be in the middle 40s with chances for morning showers. Rain should taper off as we head toward the afternoon. Winds will be gusty out of the west around 20-30 mph at times. Wind gusts could reach near 40-50 mph during the afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 7 p.m Tuesday. Winds will slowly calm down overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 30s Tuesday night.
There is a chance for flurries mixed in with some light rain Wednesday morning. Temperatures warm into the middle 40s with mostly cloudy skies Wednesday afternoon. Rain chances remain in the forecast Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
We’ll finally get some dry weather in the forecast Thursday through most of the weekend. Highs will stay in the middle and upper 40s through Friday until the 50s return for Saturday and Sunday. Cool temperatures look to continue through next week as well with highs expected in the middle and lower 40s through next Friday.
