ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) — Following the Thanksgiving holiday where many reflected on what they were grateful for, some are reflecting on their blessings through yoga.

Yoga Instructor Heather Rittenour-Sampson says holidays can be a joyous time for some, but can also be stressful.
Especially when it comes to human interactions because no one is perfect, but through yoga someone can ease those feelings.
“It’s a great way to get more grounded and being more grounded helps you to be less reactive because if you can stay in the present then you’re not focusing on the past which would be any hurts or resentment,” Rittenour-Sampson said.
She hopes all who attend her yoga class leave feeling more connected with themselves.
