A little more snow fell across the region today as our most recent storm system pushed eastward. Light snow will come to an end before 7pm with clouds slowing beginning to clear afterwards. Tonight, temperatures will drop into the lower teens as skies clear with a light northwest wind at 5-10 mph.
High pressure takes control of the region Monday, giving southern Minnesota and northern Iowa a break from all forms of precipitation as a quiet weather pattern arrives for the upcoming week. Temperatures will be chilly to start the work week with highs in the upper 20s and partly sunny skies on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with have temperatures back in the lower 30s with mostly to partly sunny skies.
Temperatures once again take a dip into the mid 20s on Friday with mostly sunny skies. Quiet weather continues into Saturday with highs in the mid 30s and partly sunny skies. While it’s much too early to talk details, Sunday could see a slight chance for snow or even a wintry mix with highs near freezing.
