Mayo Civic Center transforms into a food heaven
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A big festival for foodies at the 6th annual "FEAST!" a local foods marketplace.
Nearly a hundred vendors from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa were under the same roof to showcase their products.
On display was everything from homemade jams and jellies, special potato chips, different types of Kombucha and cooking demonstrations.

New this year, a vegetable alfombra was created by an artist using local foods. Not only is it a sight to look at, but it's all being donated.

"All this food will be donated to channel one and distributed in the community to people in need so it's beautiful it has a good cause it comes from farmers who are working hard it's just kind of a win, win, win," smiled Jan Joannides, Executive Director of Renewing the Countryside.
Organizers say this event supports local food growers and makes people aware of where their foods are coming from.
