ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Rochester Arts Center is adding a new Open Mic Night for 2020 to help showcase talents in the community. The center is calling for all artists, dancers, poets, comedians, storytellers, actors and musicians to come out and perform.

Each Open Mic Night is held on the first Thursday of the month through June at 7 p.m. with open sign-ups. It's held at 40 Civic Center Drive SE next to the Mayo Civic Center.

Local singer and songwriter Pat Egan says that there's plenty of talent in the community and added, "It's amazing how much it has grown in the last 10 years." Amy Garretson, the Arts Center's Education & Community Outreach Manager urges everyone to come out and showcase your talents as it is a judgement free zone.

The next Open Mic Night will be on February 6.
