GRAND MEADOW, Minn. (KTTC) -- Showing support for the Mabel community that lost two of its own in a tragic crash on New Year's Day. Grand Meadow students raised at least $1300 Friday morning by selling donuts -- all for the victims' families.

17-year-old Dylan Delaney died after being hit by a semi truck in Mabel.
Another passenger, 15-year-old Spencer Douglas died less than two weeks later. They were both students at Mabel-Canton High School.

Grand Meadow students also collected cash donations and wore blue and red Friday, Mabel's school colors.

A donation check will be presented at the Grand Meadow - Mabel basketball game Friday night.
