ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- It's a longstanding tradition at St. Johns Lutheran School in Wykoff.
Every third year, parents put on a play or host an event to give the teachers and students a break, as well as raise some funds.
This year, they're staging a one-act play called "Who Stole the Tarts?"
Principal Gregory Brand appeared on KTTC News at 5 Wednesday to preview the fun day.
In the show, the Queen of Hearts makes special birthday tarts for the king's birthday, but they go missing. A trial follows, involving many classic Mother Goose characters, to seek out the thief.
Parents, teachers, and students appear in the production.
The show is Sunday, February 23rd at 2 p.m. at the former middle school in Wykoff, 201 W. Bartlett St. It will be in the old gym.
In the event of inclement weather, the show would be March 1st.
There will also be a silent auction to fundraise for the school community. The show is free of charge, but there will be a freewill offering.
