KaMaria Braye

KaMaria Braye joined KTTC in January 2020. She was born and raised in Minneapolis, where she attended DeLaSalle High School. KaMaria received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Lincoln University of Missouri. 
She received her master's degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri- Columbia. While in school she worked as a reporter and anchor for KOMU-TV.

Some fun facts about KaMaria include that she spent two years serving as an Elementary Literacy Tutor through AmeriCorps. She is a former radio personality. She was Miss Lincoln University of Missouri and was featured on Ebony Magazine's website. She played collegiate tennis. She enjoys watching and participating in pageants and has been a contestant in state competitions under Miss America and Miss USA.

KaMaria is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists.

She loves meeting new people and building a connection with people in the community.
