MASON CITY, Iowa (KTTC) -- Human remains found in the Winnebago River have been identified as a woman who was reported missing in November.
Authorities said the remains of Jane Schreur were found on on July 18 by a kayaker near the Illinois Avenue bridge in Mason City.
The Mason City Police Department reported on Tuesday that the examiner's office identified the remains through dental records. Police said foul play is not suspected.
Schreur had last been seen by her family in May 2019 and was reported missing in November 2019.
