We enjoyed pleasant sunshine and comfortable temperatures throughout much of the day. The early evening will see a chance for a few showers to pass through the area before another round moves in overnight. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight with temperatures in the upper 50s. Winds will be out of the south at 5-10 mph.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue into Monday morning and are expected to exit our area around Noon. A few clouds will linger for the afternoon with areas of sunshine possible towards the evening commute. Afternoon temperatures will be on the cooler side in the low 70s with a light northwest wind at 5-10 mph.
Seasonably cool conditions are expected for much of the week ahead and skies look to remain mainly dry as well. Temperatures will be in the low 70s on Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Conditions Wednesday look to be near normal in the upper 70s with sunny skies. Cooler temperatures are expected to resume Thursday and Friday with highs in the low to mid 70s and abundant sunshine.
Models indicate temperatures will become more normal, in the upper 70s, by the weekend with partly sunny skies on Saturday and an isolated chance of showers on Sunday.
