ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KTTC) -- Since students returned to the classroom, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has visited schools across the state.
Now, the governor takes his "Statewide Safe Learning Tour" to southeast Minnesota. He is visiting Albert Lea and Byron on Wednesday, according to the governor's office.
At 10:30 a.m. Walz will be at Albert Lea High School. He is meeting with students and teachers in outdoor classes.
Then, in the afternoon, the governor will greet younger students at Byron Primary School as the kids board buses to go home for the day around 2:30 p.m.
The superintendents of both school districts will join the governor at their respective sites.
