Summer might be over…but the warm temperatures continue

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Summer-like conditions will continue through Friday with high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. We'll slowly work in Fall-like conditions by the weekend.

Recapping Summer:

Rochester averages eight 90° days in the Summer (June 20 - September 22nd). This year Rochester had 4 days in the 90s which was 3x what we experienced last year! There were 2 days with 90°-plus temperatures in June but they were before June 20th.

As we look forward to the Fall season, this is where we see the biggest change in high temperatures during the year...and this might not be the best change either! High temperatures will drop 44° from the start of Fall to the end. Dropping from 69° to a chilly 25° on December 21st.

Rain Chances Will Be Limited:

We'll see a lack of rainfall this week with only a couple of chances for isolated showers on Thursday and Saturday. Rainfall accumulations are expected to be minor this week with sunshine dominating the forecast.

Temperatures will begin to drop by Saturday with highs expected in the lower 70s and then into the 60s for highs on Sunday. Temperatures will continue to drop into next week with highs on Monday and Tuesday in the lower 60s.
