Mild weekend with cooler weather next week

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Mild conditions will continue for the first half of the weekend with high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s on Saturday. Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Saturday with breezy southeasterly winds around 10-20 mph. Skies will clear slightly on Sunday after a cold front pass through Saturday evening. High temperatures on Sunday will be the upper 70s with partly cloudy skies. Scattered showers can't be ruled out for the weekend.

Isolated showers will be possible late Saturday afternoon and through the evening hours. Rainfall accumulations are expected to be minor. The main threat of rain on Saturday will be along and to the east of the Mississippi River. Rain chances remain the forecast on Sunday too. Isolated showers will be possible through Sunday afternoon. Little to no accumulations are expected Sunday.

Enjoy the 70s and 80s this weekend because cooler weather will settle in for next week. Highs on Monday will drop into the upper 50s with overcast conditions. The 50s will remain most of the next week and it might be hard to come by widespread 60-degree weather next week. There will be a surge of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico which should cause gloomy skies next week with lingering shower chances throughout the week.
