Fourth Minnesota community vaccination site opening at Mall of America

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KTTC) -- The state's fourth community vaccination site is opening this week at the Mall of America.

According to a news release from the governor's office, the new site will serve approximately 8,190 pre-kindergarten through grade 12 educators, school staff, and child care workers in its first week.

The other community vaccination sites are in Minneapolis, Duluth and Rochester.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health's report on Wednesday, more than 1.1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered across the state.
