Conditions this weekend will be near picture-perfect both Saturday and Sunday. Highs on Saturday will be in the middle and upper 40s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will be calm out of the east-southeast around 3-5 mph. Strong southerly winds on Sunday will drive temperatures into the lower and middle 50s area-wide. Winds will be around 5-15 mph during the afternoon. Overnight lows Sunday into Monday should stay above freezing.
Temperatures will continue to climb early next week. Highs Monday and Tuesday will warm into the upper 50s and even lower 60s. We will get close to record-type conditions on Tuesday. We should fall short of record warmth Monday and Wednesday.
After a quiet week of weather, a more active weather pattern is possible next week. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday night through Wednesday. We'll keep an eye on a second possible system Friday into the following weekend.
With the warm temperatures expected next week, snow chances will be extremely limited through the next 7-10 days. Like I said above, we'll be tracking a second weather-maker for Friday extending through next weekend. The weather-maker that will impact the area on Tuesday and Wednesday will bring rain.
