DURHAM, North Carolina (KTTC) -- John Marshall alum Matthew Hurt will declare for the NBA draft.
According to the Duke Basketball program, Hurt intends to hire an agent. That means he will forego his remaining eligibility.
This past season, Hurt was named to the All-ACC First team, as well as the conference's most improved player. The 20-year-old averaged 18.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. He also shot better than 44% from beyond the arc.
Hurt was named Minnesota's Mr. Basketball in 2019. He was also the first southeastern Minnesota player to play in the McDonald's All-American Game.
ESPN rates Hurt as the 48th best prospect in the upcoming draft.
