Gopher Football To Host Spring Game May 1

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Minnesota Golden Gophers football team will host its spring game on May 1. The game will start at 11 a.m. at TCF Bank Stadium.

10,000 fans will be allowed in attendance. Tickets are free of charge. Fans will have to wear face-coverings over their nose and mouths at all times.

This will be the Gophers first spring game since 2019. Last year's game was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Minnesota finished last season 3-4 and opted to not play a bowl game.
