After a beautiful Saturday afternoon, another great day is on tap for the second half of the weekend before a drop in temperatures moves in for the start of next week. Tonight, temperatures will cool down into the mid-30s with partly cloudy skies. Winds will be light out of the northwest at 3-8 mph.
Another fabulous spring day is on tap for the region on Sunday with seasonal temperatures in the upper 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be breezy out of the west at 10-15 mph. Late in the afternoon, clouds will begin to build as our next chance for precipitation and the associated cold front push into the area. Scattered rain showers are expected over the dinner hour and should exit the region after midnight.
The passing of that cold front will drop temperatures heading into the start of the new week. Monday and Tuesday will only see high temperatures in the low 40s, with a few additional isolated showers in the morning. Partly sunny skies are on tap for Tuesday with more sunshine on tap for Wednesday with only slight improvements to afternoon highs in the mid-40s.
Temperatures quickly recover back into the 50s by the late week with highs in the mid-50s on Thursday and Friday. Abundant sunshine is expected for Thursday with isolated showers possible Friday. Saturday looks decent with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-50s.
