Some small storm cells are developing along the cold front that's pushing through the region this afternoon. A few storms have produced small hail and gusty winds, but no severe weather is expected for the rest of the day.
Storms will clear out by about 7 pm this evening. So any outdoor plans later this evening should be good to go! The cold front won't affect our temperatures too much, and we'll stay quiet for the rest of the night.
We have a few really nice, summer-y days on tap for us! On Tuesday and Wednesday highs will be in the mid to upper 70s with insignificant humidity levels. However, the same can't be said for the latter part of the week!
Dew points will increase into the mid-60s by the weekend, making for sticky conditions. Temperatures will also be on the rise, we're in the 80s by Thursday and mid-80s by Friday!
The first week of June will definitely be feeling like summer, and we'll enjoy lots of sunshine with a quiet but warm weather pattern in place for the next 7 days.
