Temperatures this upcoming weekend will be slightly cooler with highs in the lower 80s and upper 70s. We'll have beautiful conditions Saturday. Highs will be around 80° with low humidity due to a nice northerly breezy. We'll increase humidity on Sunday as a cold front moves across the area bring a chance of showers and storms early in the morning and again in the late afternoon. Storms should stay isolated and scattered.
Rainfall amounts Sunday could reach near 0.25-0.50" for some isolated areas. Current guidance keeps the heaviest rainfall south of the area closer to Waterloo, IA.
Sunday looks to be the main chance of rainfall in the near future. Drier and cooler weather will settle in for early next week. We could work in another isolated chance by Friday.
