Man arrested in Austin for driving stolen Ohio rental car

A man is arrested in Austin for allegedly stealing a rental car in Ohio and driving it to Austin.

Police were alerted that 30-year-old Benjamin Marx might be in Austin. 

Marx is considered homeless from Toledo.

Police say when Marx was apprehended around noon Tuesday on 1st Avenue Southeast he had a passenger with him in the stolen Toyota with Ohio plates.

Marx is being held in the Mower County Jail.
