Southeastern Minnesotans see lower rates for MNsure

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) – Customers in southeastern Minnesota are seeing lower rates on their MNsure premiums in 2019.

The benchmark premium through MNsure is declining 19% in 2019 for those in the area, and those eligible for tax credits can see even greater savings according to the exchange.

Approximately 70% of enrolled households in southeastern Minnesota are receiving tax credits.

More than 6,500 southeastern Minnesotans have enrolled in private health coverage through MNsure so far.

Open enrollment runs until January 13, but the deadline for coverage that begins with the new year is December 15th.
