Mason City girl found after missing for months

MASON CITY, Iowa (KTTC) – A 15-year-old girl from Mason City, who was reported missing back on October 10, has been found.

Mason City police found Tala Schall inside an apartment, shortly after a witness reported possibly seeing her enter an apartment building at 324 1st Street S.W. in Mason City around 7:40 Thursday night. 

After investigating, Mason City police arrested Devyn Belseth, 18, for harboring a runaway against the wishes of a parent or guardian. Belseth is in the Cerro Gordo County jail, on a $2,000 bond.

The investigation is still on going and anyone with any information is asked to call the Mason City Police Department.
