ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Christmas Anonymous has been collecting food, clothes, and toys for the holiday season, they started handing them out on Saturday.

Volunteers helped gather bags of food and Christmas presents for families in need.

Those families were able to go through the selection of items and find things they think their kids would like for Christmas.

Organizers say that businesses and other toy drives, such as last week’s KTTC toy drive, help them create these Christmas miracles.

“These families, these parents that come through, you know you see the happiness in their face and know that their kids are gonna have a great Christmas, like all the rest of our kids do. My Christmas spirit starts when we give the toys away here at the store. It really means a lot to me that we can help these people and I just really respect the community in Rochester. I get a lot of pride in that and what we do in this community to help out the people in need,” said Christmas Anonymous Vice President, Gail Sauter.

Each family that comes through gets their bags of clothes and toys delivered into their cars along with a Christmas dinner.
