Rollover crash shuts down Hwy. 52 northbound lanes

UPDATE: The Minnesota State Patrol’s report on this afternoon’s crash shows a car rear-ended a pickup.

The report states a 2013 Chevy Spark driven by an 18-year-old Pine Island woman rear-ended a 2012 Ford pickup in the northbound lanes about 4 p.m. Friday.

The Ford was slowing for traffic just before the crash. The Chevy rolled onto its top blocking traffic.

The Chevy driver was taken to Mayo Clinic Saint Marys with non-life threatening injuries. The Ford driver was uninjured.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – (KTTC) A rollover crash has the northbound lanes of Highway 52 closed at 19th street. It happened just before 4 p.m Friday.

Traffic was being diverted completely off the highway at 19th. Just before 4:30 p.m. some cars were being allowed to continue north along Hwy. 52.

There is no word yet on any injuries.
