BARRON, Wis. (WXOW) – Barron County, Wisconsin Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Friday investigators are still pursuing leads in the now two-plus month old investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Jayme Closs.
She hasn’t been seen since October 14 at a family gathering. A 911 call brought deputies to the Closs family home early on October 15. There they found the bodies of James and Denise Closs shot to death. There was no sign of Jayme.
After an widespread search of the area, nothing indicating her whereabouts has been found.
In a Facebook post Friday, Sheriff Fitzgerald said that someone knows something regarding Jayme. He asked that anyone with information call the Barron County tip line at 855-744-3879 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
He concluded his post by thanking people for their support and help in the case and to not give up hope Jayme will be found.
