Rochester man found guilty of robbery, sexual assault charges

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A Rochester man is found guilty of third degree criminal sexual conduct and first degree burglary charges.

A jury found Thursday that 30-year-old Merwin Coleman sexually assaulted a woman in Stewartville after breaking into her home on June 3rd.

He’s being held on bond at $250,000 with conditions.

Coleman was taken into custody back in June in Waverly, Iowa, before being transported back to Olmsted County to face the two felony charges.

Coleman’s sentencing will be on March 25th.
