ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX47) – Over 20 healthcare industries looked to address their growing need for medical staff with a “healthcare job fair” Wednesday morning.

Mayo Clinic, Madonna Living and Ability Building Center were some of the employers who met with interested parties in joining their respective teams.

Available opportunities ranged from maintenance and transportation jobs to advanced managing positions. Organizers say today’s event is perfect for anyone looking to start or advance a career in the medical industry.

“Each company is different on what positions that they have. They might have some entry level positions as a direct support or caregiver.” Said Jen Strand, a recruitment marketing specialist with JobsHQ.

“They may have some more advanced positions that may need a certificate but you know what sometimes they even provide the training or pay for the training so if you’re working there this is a great way to get some education and move up the career ladder.”

For those who could not make the event, A virtual healthcare job-fair is up online for the next two weeks. Click here to access it.

“Employers do need you to be….they NEED you to be part of their team.” Said Strand

JobsHQ hosted the fair from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at RCTC’s Heinz Center
