ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Downed power lines affected traffic in Southeast Rochester Thursday morning.

The NewsCenter had a crew at 12th Street and 4th Avenue Southeast around 6:45 a.m. where two lanes of traffic were closed.

Rochester Fire and Rochester Public Utilities were both on the scene. We’re told the problem could have been caused by a lightning strike.

RPU says 31 customers were affected. Crews hoped to have power restored within an hour.
