ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) –  You could say Sunday’s weather was perfect for a cold glass of lemonade, and a young entrepreneur in Rochester is taking advantage of that.

Jayleigh Coppage set up a lemonade stand with the help of her mom, grandma, and little sister at the corner of 55th Street and 25th Avenue Northwest.

One dollar would get you a drink and some cookies.

After her mom got sick, Jayleigh thought her family trip to Florida might not happen, but now that it’s back on, she decided to earn money for herself and for her family to spend on souvenirs.

“Because I want to make money for my family,” said the five-year-old. “Because I really want my family to be happy.”

Jayleigh’s kind spirit is contagious, already inspiring other acts of kindness.

After buying some lemonade a young man gave Jayleigh a flower.

Her reaction says it all!
