Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing Illinois man

CERRO GORDO COUNTY, Iowa (KTTC) –  Authorities in Cerro Gordo County are searching for a missing Illinois man.

Lawrence Howlett, 48, from Sandwich, Illinois was reported missing the morning of Saturday, June 8th.

He goes by Larry.

According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, he was last seen Saturday, June 1st at about 10 p.m. near his camper on the Shell Rock River.

He was reportedly wearing blue jean shorts, a gray tank top, white socks, and khaki boots.

He is 5’5″ tall and 136 pounds.

He has green eyes and greyish brown hair, and also has a Batman, Superman, and the name “Baileigh” tattooed on his left arm, and “Shantal” on his right arm.
