ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – When good deals are on the line, people are ready to stand in line.
That was the case before the doors opened for an annual sale in Rochester this morning.
It’s the 31st annual Charter House Sidewalk Sale.
Every year, the Mayo Clinic retirement community comes together to sell donated treasures like furniture, jewelry, art, home goods, and everything in between.
The money raised benefits organizations like Family Promise, the Women’s Shelter and Support Center, and Thrive Child Care & Family Resource Center.
Over the years, the sale has sent hundreds of thousands dollars to dozens of area nonprofits.
The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
