ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – If you were in downtown Rochester Saturday afternoon you might of heard less chatting and a lot more barking.

The Rochester Downtown Alliance and Subaru held the 4th annual Ultimate Guide to Dogs Downtown at the Peace Plaza.

Furry friends of all shapes and sizes took on the plaza, taking cute photos at the doggy both to cooling down with doggy ice-cream, and for those who were getting tire Cafe Steam provided doggy-cappuccinos.

Karli McElroy said this event is all about having a good time with your furry friends, “This is such a happy event, like it’s just one of those events you come down and you see lots of dogs around they’re all wearing bandannas and like little scarves and outfits and you just see a lot of creativity and it’s just a fun event.”

Organizers said they are already looking forward to next years event.
