Mayo’s Madsen Twins Commit to Cincinnati

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Mayo’s Madsen twins announced earlier today on Twitter that they will play their college basketball at Cincinnati.

The Madsen twins averaged a combined 46 points and 16 rebounds per game for the Spartans last year, bringing an exciting brand of basketball to the Med City and re-invigorating the Mayo basketball program.

Gabe is a 6-6 wing that can score from absolutely anywhere on the court – capable of pulling up from well beyond NBA 3-point range, but also athletic enough to dunk it on your head.

Mason is a 6-3 point guard that can similarly score from all levels and led the Spartans in minutes last year.  He also had multiple triple-doubles for the Spartans last season.
