Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested after GPS leads deputies to stolen ATV

GENOA TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KTTC) — A man was arrested after authorities recovered a stolen ATV and more than eight grams of methamphetamine on Monday.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Todd Walker stole a Polaris Ranger from an enclosed trailer at a construction site on 161st Avenue near Fillmore County Road 2.

A GPS was attached to the ATV which lead authorities to the 8400 block of Mechanic Street Northwest in Genoa.

The Sheriff’s Office said deputies recovered the ATV and trailer at the site.

Fillmore County deputies found boot prints at the construction site and got a search warrant for the Genoa home to see if the prints matched.

The Sheriff’s Office said that during that search warrant, deputies found 8.44 grams of meth left out in plain view.
Walker was arrested and faces controlled substance and stolen property charges
