Severe storms roll through SE Minnesota

(KTTC) – Severe weather popped up all over Southeast Minnesota Tuesday afternoon.

The storms produced several tornado warnings which lead to various examples of funnel clouds.

We’re looking to see if the National Weather Service will confirm if any of them touched down. We’re also checking for any potential damage.

The image below was captured by Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Josh Partlow. This was at 4:30 p.m. from Freeborn County road 35, near I-35. Sheriff Kurt Frietag says the funnel cloud came down over the south central Steele County area.
