Rochester Police make two drug arrests, Emergency Response Unit called to secure the scene

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Two arrested were made when a narcotics search warrant was served in NW Rochester.

Edward Gildersleve and Abdi Abdullahi of Rochester are facing charges of controlled substance crimes.

Police said they have a history of violence, causing the Emergency Response Unit to secure the scene of the arrest.

Police served the warrant around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of 18 1/2 Ave. NW.

Officers said they found cocaine residue on bags and scales inside the apartment, indicating sales took place.

Just under three grams of cocaine and almost 30 painkiller pills were found inside Gildersleve’s underwear.
