Argument in a Rochester bar led to two arrests

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – An argument at a Rochester bar was taken out onto the street early Friday morning.

Police said about six officers struggled to get the scene under control.

The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. in the 300 block of 1st. Ave. SW.

10 to 15 people were involved when officers arrived.

Another group of females were fighting with someone in a parked car nearby.

The group reportedly resisted the officers, one woman even punched an officer during the scuffle.

In the end, 20-year-old Sherkhan Miller from Calmer, Iowa and Lauren Mims from Rochester were arrested. The two face third degree riot charges.

Mims also faces obstruction and assault charges.
