NEAR WILSON, Minn. (KTTC) – An injury crash slowed the morning commute on I-90 Friday and lead to another injury crash.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of a Ford Fusion was eastbound in the left lane and went into the right lane around 6 a.m., hitting an International Drump Truck. The driver of the Ford is a 19-year-old man from Wyoming, Minnesota. The 56-driver male dump truck driver is from Houston, Minnesota.
The crash caused a backup for some distance. A viewer sent the NewsCenter a photo of the halted traffic.
A second injury crash happened around 6:45 a.m. when the driver of a Ford Focus rear ended a Honda Pilot that was stopped for the crash. The driver of the Pilot is a 41-year-old woman from Rochester and a 28-year-old Mabel man was driving the Focus.
The State Patrol plans to release the names of the all 4 drivers in these accidents and their conditions Friday at 6 p.m.
