Fillmore County crime prevention program to address meth problem

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) — There’s an opportunity Wednesday night to discuss the growing methamphetamine problem.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Fillmore County Attorney’s Office are presenting a crime prevention program addressing illegal drugs in the county. Speakers will discuss changing trends in the drug trade in rural Minnesota.

They will also discuss the process of investigating and prosecuting drug crimes, including ways the public can safely report suspicious activity.

The event is at the Fillmore Free Methodist Church, which is north of Wykoff off County Road 8. It starts at 6:30 p.m.
