UPDATE: State Patrol releases names of people involved in crash near Pine Island

NEAR PINE ISLAND, Minn. (KTTC) — Authorities have released the names of the people involved in a rollover crash on Highway 52 on Thursday afternoon.

At about 4:30 p.m., a Toyota pickup truck was Northbound on Highway 52 in the right lane when it went into a ditch, hit a median barrier and rolled, the State Patrol reported. The pickup came to a stop and landed partially in the right southbound lane.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of the Toyota Tundra was James Hair, 70, of Rochester. The passenger was Renee Remsberg, 58, also of Rochester.

According to a Pine Island fire official, the driver had head injuries.

The State Patrol said both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Mayo Clinic Saint Marys.

Road crews were working in the area when the accident happened. Traffic was down to one lane.
